Geraldine Trada
CO-FOUNDER
Geraldine is the co-founder of the Geraldine Trada Foundation. Born and raised in the UK, she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 12, an experience that shaped her passion for advocacy and healthcare access.
She is currently pursuing a degree in BSc Economics, with a particular interest in developmental and healthcare economics. Alongside her studies, Geraldine has worked closely with Diabetes UK, serving as a Campaign Champion to advocate for improved access to diabetes care and technology.
Through the Geraldine Trada Foundation, she leads initiatives including diabetes education programs, community outreach, and policy advocacy for individuals and families affected by diabetes in Rwanda. Her work is driven by a deep commitment to ensuring equitable healthcare access and empowering those navigating life with diabetes.
